Frequently Asked Questions
Charity and Donations
We will be donating money to the Greater Boston Food Bank at the beginning of every month! Look out for our newsletter when we make a donation.
All masks are pre washed. Masks are placed in bags with gloves to add an extra layer of protection.
The masks don't have a filter. They are used to provide an extra layer of protection when out in public. They are also now required to be worn in public by the State of Massachusetts (read more here). Medical grade masks/masks with filters (N95s, etc.) should be reserved for healthcare providers and those who are immunocompromised. However, these masks fit over an N-95 or any other type of medical grade mask, and can aid in preserving them in a hospital/healthcare setting.
These masks are handmade, so problems can happen! If you have any problems, don't hesitate to reach out, I am happy to work with you. Please do not send your worn mask back to me, due to safety concerns. You can contact us at the "Contact Us" page.
Pickup and Drop Off
You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. A confirmation email does not signify that the order is ready for pickup. Once I text you, please arrive at/after the time I give you in order to maintain social distancing. The orders will be in a bin at the end of my driveway, with your order confirmation and name paperclipped to it. Please take your order, and I will text you to confirm that you have it!
Similar to pickup, you will receive an email when your order is ready for drop off. A confirmation email does not signify that the order is ready for drop off. I will text you the window of time and the day that I am coming by, and I'll leave it on your doorstep to maintain social distancing guidelines. Once your order has been dropped off, I will text you to confirm that you have it!
Processing takes about 2 days, and shipping takes about 3 days (via USPS Priority). A confirmation email will be sent to you, and a tracking number will be sent once the order is shipped.
